Modulus

Modulus is a premium minimalist keyboard brand for enthusiasts. We built the Framer storefront from a repurposed SaaS template, adapting a subscription-style conversion structure to a considered physical purchase. The design language is clean and restrained letting the product carry the page while the CRO layer handles trust, urgency, and decision friction at every stage of the scroll.

Above-hero color FOMO banner
A slim announcement bar above the hero surfaces colorway availability in real numbers units remaining per finish, not vague "limited stock" language. This creates urgency at the very first moment of arrival, before the visitor has even read the headline. A customer who sees "Cobalt 47 units remaining" enters the page with a different frame than one who doesn't.

Review badges
Star rating and review count badges are placed at multiple points across the page rather than isolated to a single testimonial section. The goal is ambient trust a visitor who skims rather than reads still encounters social proof repeatedly. Each badge is specific enough to be credible: a rating, a number, a source.

"Hear it before you buy it" section
Sound is a primary purchase driver in the mechanical keyboard market and almost no brand addresses it directly on the product page. We added an embedded audio section with three clips one per switch type so a visitor can evaluate the board on the dimension that matters most before committing. Each clip is labeled with the switch name and a single descriptor line. No other brand at this price point does this.

Craftsmanship copy
A dedicated copy block details the iteration process behind the Modulus One the number of gasket configurations tested, foam combinations trialed, and sound profiles rejected before landing on the final build. This isn't marketing language, it's specificity used as proof. Enthusiasts are skeptical of vague premium claims. Telling them exactly what was tested and why it was changed earns credibility that adjectives never could.

Pricing upsell
The pricing section is structured to do active selling rather than passive listing. Three tiers are presented with clear differentiation Base, Signature, and Custom but the Signature tier is anchored as the default choice through visual hierarchy. Each tier surfaces what you'd pay separately to replicate it, making the bundle value explicit. The Custom tier functions less as a purchase option and more as an aspiration anchor that makes Signature feel accessible by comparison.
